I can tell a big difference. The Leica lens make the digital photos look more like the film photos that I'm used to. I thought at first it was because I'm shooting wide open usually and my Leica primes are faster than the Canon zooms, but I got a Canon 50/1.4 and it still doesn't give me the same look as the Leica lenses. >-What are the Leica lenses that you prefer to use with your Canon digital >bodies? I'm using the MK II with the Leica lenses. I also have the 10D but only as a back-up body. The Leica lenses balance perfectly on that huge body. Makes me wish for a digital M, though! >Any other comments would be appreciated especially about quality of the R >glass on these bodies. As Nathan said, if you don't already have the R lenses, it probably wouldn't make sense to go out and buy them to use on the Canon, but if you have the lenses, it's certainly worth getting a couple of adapters to take advantage of the quality of the lenses.
