I was trying to figure out which one of those jokers looks most  like  
a Carter, but finally decided I didn't want to insult  anybody.

By the way, seems that we found that one McClendall Carter of Lenoir  
County, 
NC is our earliest known Carter ancestor in the US.  (1850  census)
