You mean that the bundled software that came with my 20D would not read a D30 file? If that's the case, no problem, since I haven't even installed the Canon software... As long as PS CS can open it, I don't care. But I do agree that it would be far better if everyone used an open format. In the meantime, I guess the safest thing to do is to save things as TIFFs.
