We, reporter and myself were covering the arrival of Canadian UN troops who'd been ordered out of the Sinai by the Egyptian government. It was a pleasant afternoon as we sat at an outside cafe within sight of the tower having a drink admiring the Leaning Tower of Pisa. WOW!! :-) My thought at the time was, "Am I ever glad I have my cameras just maybe I'll get lucky and have the first pictures of it falling over!" :-) Of course no such luck! ;-) However, we left a couple of days later and arrived in Israel before the war started! Just my luck. First war, there for the start with my Leica's and on my way home 6 Days later! :-) Now that's the way to run a war and shoot some pictures! :-) ted
