I recently found the lux 75mm at 1.4 harder to focus close up accurately than the Noctilux at f1... both of course in very limited light...my recollection is, that this is to be expected based on the dof... is this correct? You find the same? thanks, Steve Rei Shinozuka wrote: > i find the STEER to be very helpful on my Noctilux. i also use one > on the 75 lux. > > -rei > > On Apr21 18:14, Didier Ludwig wrote: > >>>I have become aware of a faster focus ring add-on for the Noctilux lens >>>but cannot find out where to get one.I know it is not produced by Leica >>>but more than that and I'm lost. >>>I'd appreciate any information on this add-on ring and where I can get >>>one. >>> >>>Thanks >>> >>>David Stares >> >>David, >>http://www.leicagoodies.com/ >>Look for the STEER >>The size is adjustable.
