We have low sulphur diesel here, costs much less than regular unleaded (US$3.5/gallon as opposed to US$7/gallon for unleaded), but we cannot have diesel passenger cars! Our government do not license diesel-engined passenger cars. They say only commercial vehicles (buses, trucks etc.) can have diesel engine. The irony is that our traffic condition favours diesel engines a lot more than petrol engines - lots of low end torque, horsepower being irrelevant here. I would love a BMW 740d/535d turbo diesel..... Joseph
