The latest Chinese built-BMWs (E60 new 5 series and E90 new 3 series) seem
to possess the best build quality I have come across in any BMWs to date.  I
guess they don't serve beer in their canteen either.

Nationality and beer aside, I believe a lot has to do with work ethics and
culture.
