I experimented a bit, shooting mostly from the wings into the harsh sidelights. I learned that I like Fujipress 1600, which I hadn't used before but which handled the stage lighting well, to my eyes anyway. I'm also learning that I like photos in which the light source is visible, so here are a couple of those: Main and Alternate: My main shot this week has lots of technical imperfections, but I'm somehow really drawn to it anyway. My alternate is a bit sharper for those who find such things important: http://www.duke.edu/~ajs2/PAW/2005_12/index.html (If you like, you can think of this as a flare test...the first photo (my main) is with my last pre-asph 35/2 summicron, the second photo (my alt) is with my current 90/2.8 elmarit-m.) My other favorites from the shoot (16 pix) can be seen here: http://www.duke.edu/~ajs2/2005_ChoreoCurrentTechDress/index.html Gluttons for punishment and unemployed people who have a fast internet connection and more stamina then sense are welcome to check out all 125 unedited shots here: http://www.duke.edu/~bbk/TechDress/index.html Comments, complaints, suggestions, and other responses gladly welcomed. Thanks for looking, Aaron
