Richard -

I felt the same way a few years ago. I have a degree in English but have
had my own photography business for almost 30 years. I decided I'd go
back to school and get my master's in Fine Art, with an emphasis in
photography. It only took one semester of trying to learn how to paint
with oils (one of several required Fine Art courses before I could even get
to photography), for me to decide I could spend my time and money in much
better ways. I would advise using it to buy film - or digital cards - and
take workshops that interest you. There are lots of good workshops at
Santa Fe and Maine. I took one by Stan Grossfeld on using photography to
make a difference in Maine and one by Sam Abell on documentary projects in
Santa Fe. The Leica seminars were fun and educational and, hopefully, will
return someday, someway.

Good luck on whatever you decide!

Tina
