Every digital reflex camera has problems when launched! This is the
reason of updating firmware and generally affects to minor defects
and/or secondary features not working in the appropriate manner. I
remember when first Nikon DSLR cameras had to be sent to Nikon for
firmware updating. But I suspect that such a delay in the launching of
DMR cannot be due to minor firmware retouchs but something more
important. When we have it in our hands we'll be able to make a deeper
judgment. Meanwhile just waiting. If it comes from a Imacon and Leica
collaboration for sure it has to be a good product but the problem is if
it can be a little bit late as others are well place in the race and
Leica users who are using other digital bodies with Leica R lenses *and*
sometime use other lenses realize that the superiority of Leica R lenses
is certain but not so big..
