However, the assignment dictates how many rather than the desire to lug lots of gear around just for the heck of it. In some cases not only do I have 3 M7's RapidWiinder driven off my neck, hanging stacked fashion one above the other on my chest to tummy. I carry 2 motor driven R8's on the left shoulder and another motor driven R8 on the right shoulder. Most of the time all same film, but various lenses. > Working from the strap or bag? <<<<<<<<< Can't imagine with a bag, it's bad enough people waste money buying never ready cases, let alone carry them around in a bag! My goodness then they're never ready for anything but a boat anchor! ;-) >>>>>Do you use them as a primary/backup? Both active at once?<<<<< All active! You don't even look at what you have in hand as it's as automatic as breathing when you reach for the camera-lens you require. Besides if you think, the picture is gone before your thought is finished! Unless of course one is shooting rocks, ferns and peeling paint! ;-) Then it's forever! ;-) > The questions are to prompt discussion. Seems like a > luxury and really don't know about it's practicality,<<<<<<< The practicality of it is determined by the subjects you are involved with in your picture taking. Besides if you are a weekend warrior shooter the chances are, rarely will you be in a position to require more than one, several lenses , yes. Compared to those of us who shoot for a living as there's a major difference in requirements. ted
