An old friend once described the Lotus position as "being seated at a desk,
contemplating an ever-slender checkbook and a pile of auto invoices."

Off to shoot a few FILM frames in my LEICA on this lovely, if chilly day.
Hope that gets us back to topic.

Best,

The JH had the very first of the Lotus built (Vauxhall derived) engines
and, to say the least, there were a "few' bugs that needed to be worked
out. Which they eventually did do but not until long after the JH was
dead. An engine overhaul by an experienced Lotus mechanic will sort all
the problems out -- Lotus speak for reduce to a manageable level.
