I must the contrarian among contrarians. I used Leica lenses on Canon digital for a couple of years; it works well enough, but in the end, I sold the Leica lenses and the adaptor, and use Canon lenses. They work better with the Canon bodies, are much faster to use, are cheaper and lighter, and any difference in resulting image quality is not significant enough in my eyes to bother with the hassle. Also remember that correct exposure and focus and steadiness are crucial for image quality. The Canon lenses help a lot with these issues (the IS - Image Stabilization on some of the lenses helps with the steadiness) Ted, I am a little surprised that you went this route, KISS would have tossed the Leica lenses and go with the Canon ones. I am curious on what makes you prefer using the Leica lenses on Canon bodies. Cheers, - Phong
