In the summer it gets tens of thousands of visitors per day. The rocks at the extreme left are called "Old Harry" and "Old Harry's Wife" and used to be used as a hiding spot by smugglers. After this photo was taken the boat in the distance suddenly came alive as a C-130 came low overhead making parachute drop of six marines into the sea,fast inflatables sweeping out from the boat to collect them.
