When i choose "Singapore' as my country, the price of a default MP, without configuring is already SGD $6600. You can get a new MP (0.72x) for SGD $4300 the last time i checked. throw in the cost of changing to the M7 style rewind crack means Leica will make more money through the ala carte program than releasing any kind of "MP-2" with minor modifications :( ---------- David Teo On 22-Jan-05, at PM 04:56, Steve Unsworth wrote: > Selecting an M7 type rewind crank adds 150GBP the cost an MP. > > Steve > > -----Original Message----- > From: lug-bounces+mail=steveunsworth.co.uk@leica-users.org > [mailto:lug-bounces+mail=steveunsworth.co.uk@leica-users.org] On Behalf > Of Red Dawn >> > > An MP with a proper rewind crank - u can get that today through the ala > carte program already, and pay almost twice the price for it. why would > they offer a regular one for sale? >
