T. Mike Fletcher here;  If anyone has an intrest.  I have a Black Paint M3 
top plate, It has no glass, no SR number, and on the top in very small print 
is 
the word HOVE, were the number should.  I'll trade of sell it for $300.00, 
somewhat less than the on the went on Ebay about 10 days ago.
