Ditto with the other lens, I already have the 35/1.4ASPH and the 50/1.4ASPH and the 50/2'cron, so most of the ZI lens are not "interesting" to me in that sense. I think if I add the 28/2ASPH (mainly for the RD-1), I would be one happy camper (with no kidneys left). I owned a 21/4 VC for a while and I am just too unskilled to use it effectively. With the exception of the 50/2 and 50/1.4ASPH which I bought new, I generally buy my lens used (but oh where is ANY used 28/2 for sale? :-( ) so the 1/3 lower price for the CV designed lens are not a big draw for me in that regard either. If I buy another film RF, I would probably go for a demo/used .85 M7, which is about the same price as the ZI new. Again, thanks for the info.
