Subject: [Leica]What is the least amount of equipment you can use?

This question is hard to answer because it is not well defined, IMO.

If it is an extended, once in a lifetime, trip and you are able to
handle it, take 2 SLRS, and lenses from 21 to at least 180/200 mm,
including a PC lens and a macro. Yes, I know the thread is about the
"least amount....". FWIW, I regard the 28mm PC lens as the best second
lens to have after a standard 50.

If you are going on a business trip with some free time to take
pictures, one primary body, a CLE, say, and 40 & 90 mm lenses, with
perhaps a 21mm lens and a backup body as useful extras. Or an SLR with a
35-70 or similar zoom.

Also a flash. I've never agreed with the anti-flash sentiments expressed
by some on this list.

Regards,
Akhil
