So, I took a photo trip to New York for a few days. Basic schedule took the following form: shoot pictures, go to galleries, check out gear, get film processed, eat, sleep, repeat. High recommendations go to the following: Shooting - Union Square, rooftops, jazz clubs Viewing - The Leica Gallery, Klotz/Sirmone Gallery Shopping - Photo Village, Tamarkin, Eli Kurland Eating - Le Madelaine, Four Seasons, Il Truilli, Pompano. Snap-a-day postings (from cheap & cheery scans available for quick turnaround) at http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-York-12-04 Contrast and such aren't the greatest but the negs look good; I'll hafta scan for real later. Outdoor shots with 21 VC stopped down, indoor shots with late spherical 50 'Lux wide open. I must say, the 21/50/M thing really does it for me. Comments always welcome. Bob Palmieri
