Prices at Adorama & B&H are about where new R2 prices are, which are now about $550 - where you can find them - & they are cheaper than European R2 prices. At this point the Rollei is a real bargain IMO. Better packaged than the R2, it comes with an extra year on the warrany, a deluxe camera strap, & a very readable, well printed manual. Most important is the fact that for folks enamored with the newly re-discovered 40mm focal length, the framelines in the Rollei are much more viewable than on the R3A because of the .7 magnification. The 40/2.8 Sonnar is excellent glass & the CV 40/1.4 Nokton offers the faster alternative.
