I found the lens on E-bay through a Russian dealer. Got it for $85 plus $15 shipping. >Neal Friedenthal wrote: >> http://www.photoneal.com/photos/photos_04/tn/lrob1.jpg.html >Little Rob looks happy to see you. :-) >I too have been happy with my Soviet photo gear. >Who do you buy from, in Moscow ? >Also, how do you like the Cosina Voigtlander R3A ? >It's among the more exciting gear news to me (along with >the Leica 50mm Summilux ASPH) >Cheers, >- Phong Phong, Little Rob was helping out at the Camera shop for the holidays and I hadn't seen him in a while so he was happy to see me. I got this lens from "ruscamera" off of E-bay, easy deal good follow up. I like the CV R3a, while it is not an M7 it is the next best thing if you want an auto exposure rangefinder and don't want to pay a fortune. The 1:1 finder is pretty neat too. I'd call it a great back up camera or knock around body when you don't want to risk the Leica. Makes a bit more noise than an M but not as bad as the earlier VC Bessas. Neal F
