Blame PowerPoint for this one, not families and film. Twenty years ago, I was making fairly good money producing safety, benefits and orientation slide shows for companies like Chevron and Boeing Petroleum. It first started to go to VHS, and then in the past five years all of that has moved to Powerpoint. Kathy is an assistant Professor of Nursing at NSU, and all the lectures have been converted to PowerPoint, and classrooms fitted with video projectors. At The University Libraries they recently surplused most of the Slide Projectors. No one was using them.
