What condition it's in. Availability in that area. Reputation of the seller. How good a salesman the seller is. How good a sucker the buyer is. What the dollar, yen and euro translates to for and against. Any number of hard to put your finger on issues. In other words. WHAT YOU CAN GET FOR IT. Just because your next door neighbor got one for half the price the day before does not make the lens you paid so much for today worth less or more than what the deal is you cut with the guy to spend that much money on it.
