I haven't loaded a reel in maybe ten years, but I could do it perfectly 
tomorrow, all day if it were a steel reel.  The trick is to cup the film 
ever so 
slightly, and just start rolling the reel in your hand, keeping the cup.  
Try it 
in hte light a few times, and you'll be an expert.  The steel ones don't get 
smelly and ugly like the plastic ones do.
