if you are serious about B/W, probably yes
for color, no -- due to the hassle and nasty chemicals

B/W seems to be the only bright part on film sales for the time being. B/W
is making somewhat of a comeback among retro fans.

If you plan to sell art prints, some galleries or even photo art magazines
(B/W) only accept traditional B/W processes.

used enlargers etc are selling very inexpensively compared to their former
prices.
