Another vote for an M body with a meter.

Take a look at the M6 and M6TTL, I would suggest a .72 viewfinder
(same as your M2). The M5 also has a meter, but the body is a little
larger. It's built like a tank. Sherry Krauter sometimes has some for 
sale,
which she will have completely overhauled.
