Subject: [Leica] OT: how many languages do you know?

some English and German (from 1945 to circa 1960 I was a professional
translator and interpreter,) enough French, Tyrolean, and Italian to get
around and order meals. Latin has faded away, and of the dozen or so Russian
phrases I learned from the Red Army in 1945 only two or three were fit for
mixed company anyway.
