To keep you from having to look at the map, think Denmark and think all the way north, to the tip. If you drop back down south 30 km or so and trace a line to the east, across the water, you'll get to G?teborg. It's an industrial town somewhat comparable to St. Louis. Some of its industries have disappeared (ship building and repairing) while others are looking shaky (the automobile industry, Hasselblad). On the other hand, Ericsson is well represented here, Saab Space. Anyway, a reminder of a more bustling past at the harbour, a submarine propeller now on dry land: http://www.dlridings.com/paw2004/43.html (Rolleicord V, Fuji Neopan 400) The other shot for this week is from Oslo. Karl Johann is full of street performers. http://www.dlridings.com/paw2004/43alt1.html (Leica M2, 50mm Summicron, Kodak 400TMY) I had a hard time choosing a main, but if you follow the links in its caption, you'll see some, but not all, of the other candidates. If any of them strike your fancy more than the one I chose, I'd be happy to hear about it. More Leica shots later ... Daniel
