Take a Loupe and check very carefully all areas where the film touches on the emulsion side. Sounds like a pressure plate marking? Does this happen with colour and B&W film? Or does it do it with some and not others? Is every roll scratched exactly the same in the same places? If so, take the uncut roll lay it across the open back of the camera and see if you can align the scartches with something this way. But a scratch is a tough thing to find. However, if the camera is still under warranty roll-up a bunch of scratched films along with the camera and ship it to Leica whwerever you are and let them have a look. But I'd take an extremely close look at the pressure plate side of the camera. ted Grant
