I tested mine at close focus, mid and far for focusing accuracy at full aperture with my M7 and it was right on. I have been using it lately shooting Tri-X in my M4-2 half-frame camera along with a 28 Summicron. The 28 gives me the equivalent of a 42mm and the 50 asph the same as a really good 72mm f/1.4 short tele. The 28 makes a good normal lens for this setup and the 50 perfect for head and shoulder candid portraits. JB
