Having Kyocera, for the big pain of his customers, stopped the Contax production and with the marginal production figures of Nikon MF SLR, the Leica R8 is the only way for those who love the manual focusing. It's big -his volume is bigger than some 645 camera- it weights a lot but has a good ergonomics, clear modus operandi and a good finder however the greenish cast. This camera and Contax G2 -with some of excellent CZ G lenses- are, by far, my most appreciated manual focusing cameras. Some of the R lenses are paradigmatic, while others are not so much.The launching of a digital back -if Leica survives- is the last effort to live in the 21st century. Enjoy it! Felix
