I find if I walk around with my eyes open and my camera nearby, that a photo will often find me. I love that, but it only really works when I'm in the right frame of mind to notice what I see...this seems to be much more important than what lens I have with me. On the other hand, the brief time that I spent shooting what others told me to shoot was not at all the same. Knowing I absolutely _had_ to come back with a shot that pleased the editor or whoever was exciting and challenging, but very onerous when I wasn't in the right mood. A couple of years of that were more than enough for me, so I too am blown away by those on the LUG and elsewhere that can pump themselves up for wonderful photos of anything, anytime, anyplace. -Aaron Brian wrote: >>but clearly I feel that when you have a terrific talent, you don't need a >>lot of equipment... > >Mumble.
