Marty Forscher used to fix my Leicas and Nikons. He was a genius. Just
imagine what he could do for digital adaptations if he were around
today.

Ya, I know his work, as I was a news shooter at the height of his prowness.
I was in TV, and we had a similar guy living over in Dallas, Gordon Yoder,
who
converted the Auricon film camera into something usable for news.

It was the fore-runner of the Cinema Products CP16, (a wonderful camera)
that
was a little too late in coming to market, as Ikegami soon produced the
Video
Handy Lookie (HL33) http://www.pharis-video.com/hl-33.jpg and we all traded
in our 9 pound cameras for video rigs that weighed 60 pounds. Isn't progress
great?

Sonny
