As it's the taste that really counts and after the first sip the aroma wont make any difference, but smell better. :-) So sip it, not down it like blended scotch. A simple sip, enough to get a good taste and it should be as smooth as silk. Some folks like to slightly touch it with water to soften the flavour or open it up as they say. So if you feel the taste is a tad strong, remember just a slight dash of water. And I'm sure you'll enjoy the extremely fine single malt of the God's! ;-) So dear lady please let the crew know when you've enjoyed your first Lagavullin! :-) ted
