The shape of Video. I love 2 over 3 (1.5 ratio) which is 24x36 format (12 24 36) NOT fond of the boxy shape of 4x5 sheet film. (1.25) NOW today there is announced a digital camera which does not made an aspect of itself. http://www.dpreview.com/news/0409/04092303fujifilmf810us.asp The Fujifilm FinePix F810 The "810" name makes you think it fits the 8x10 format which is 3 over 4 (2 4 6 8 10) Which you can do. But the camera is all about its widescreen mode. (16:9) to fit those TV shapes which are taking over. "The FinePix F810 offers 6.3 million effective pixels and can capture up to 4048 x 3040 recorded pixels (12.3 million) in standard mode or 3968 x 2232" It's ASA goes to 800 and it has a real large file size: 1/1.7 inch Super CCD HR ? 6.6 million pixels total ? 6.3 million effective pixels Image sizes Standard mode ? 4048x3040 (12.3 million) Widescreen mode ? 3968x2232 And priced to sell at half a dozen hundred bucks. I just might land one. It's all good. If it only had Leica or something exciting glass. Put a Red dot over it over the Fuji sign. Mark Rabiner Photography Portland Oregon http://rabinergroup.com/
