My counter is not working, and I sometimes check to see if the camera is loaded by setting to B and looking down the throat. In all cases, when there is still film, and the light is bright, frame lines are fogged. I think you have first curtain problems, Try setting the camera at a low speed, and fire it without a lens, looking at the shutter. See if there is a sluggish movement of the curtains.
