Some years ago, I used a rotating polarizing filter, on a very clear and
bright summer day, with clouds, shooting Pan-X, Nikon F2, f/1.8 85mm,
and got some very good "night/day" results.  I don't recall how I
processed the prints, but I still have them.  Nice dark sky, etc.
