Well, the problem is that when Outlook *sends* a message, it often encodes it so that only Outlook can read it. For those of you who are techies, I can say that it does this by combining all of the non-text components into a TNEF block (Transport Neutral Encoding Format) which is, indeed, transport-neutral but is not vendor-neutral. Eudora faithfully follows all of the Internet standards for encoding outgoing messages. You will never see a compatibility problem with a message sent from Eudora.
