On an Epson 1680 flatbed, the focus offset used to accomodate the plastic 
film strip holders is the same (or near enough) as that for a negaitve 
holder for my enlarger.  Putting the film in a negative holder for 6x7 or 
6x9 and scanning works ok. Film flatness is not great, but it can work.  
Also, scan and stitch with the Nikon Supercoolscan 4000 works.
