I have been doing some research and the RD 1 with a physical rangefinder base of 38.2mm and a rangefinder mag of 1.0 will have an effective rangefinder base of 38.2mm. This compares with an effective base of 40.165 on a Leica M 0.58 viewfinder and an effective viewfinder base of 25.16mm on the Bessa and Bessa R2.
