This is not normal, God knows why, but the other M6's and 4 are just fine. ...which is funny, because the M6 brochure I have shows members of some Arctic expidition proudly shooting away with M6's. The key to working in REALLY COLD temps for extended times is to have the oil and other liquid lubricants removed from the camera or replaced with graphite. Nikon professional Services in Toronto used to offer this service. I wonder how the digis will hold up?
