It amuses me to have to change 'up a gear' and add a pair of spectacles just to get a few inches further away than a lot of much cheaper lenses. One of the joys of being an amateur is that Leica 'M' deficiencies don't cost me any money in lost shots. Even if they did, I was aware of those deficiencies before I purchased them so it would be pointless for me to bemoan those deficiences when if and when they got in the way.
