I could help out with what may possibly be the last R5 # 1900004,
production was supposed
to have stopped before 1900000 according to the lists. Or a screw thread
collapsible Elmar 2.8/50mm
with a serial number from 1966.

Seriously though, just how reliable are Leica numbers ? maybe they are
kept unreliable to let
us think we may have something obscure or more valuable (for a
collector) than it really is.
