I have a feeling that the pendulum will swing back a bit before any of this 
dust settles.

The more that I work with both film and digital - the more I appreciate the 
transparency as an original.

I appreciate the ease of edit.
I appreciate the artifact (already printed).
I appreciate the economy.
I appreciate the sharpness.
I appreciate the contrast.

And I really would like to simply the scan the best of the best LF, MF and 
35mm chromes.

And I really would like a really fine Imacon scanner to do it with.

Yes I'll have the $1.5K to $5K digital for those who want the speed.
