I have routinely developed Fuji Acros in this soup, 2 rolls at a >time, with excellent results. Last time we had a major Xtol discussion, I took the time to create this page: http://canid.com/xtol_faq.html If I were using Tmax like Adam, I would observe Kodak's recommendations of 100 ml per roll. I believe there are problems with tmax with lesser amounts. I use about 63ml Xtol per roll with Fuji, though, and I'm happy with my results. (~250 ml Xtol + 750 ml water in a 1 L tank with 4 rolls). Actually, it's slightly more than 250 ml Xtol. I use 250 ml bottles that I fill up to the very top of the neck so there is minimal air in the bottle. I believe that Kodak no longer publishes the 1:3 times because of the minimum developer amount required by tmax films. You could only develop 2 rolls in a 1 L tank and still observe the recommended minimum volume of developer. For reasons I don't understand, Kodak doesn't care greatly about the results with Fuji products. <grin> -- Eric http://canid.com/
