They have the standard E39mm 0.5 thread. No one seems to have the 39mm ring with the .75 pitch. Most Leica Elmars have 39mm threads, but the Series 5.5 obviously doesn't use that standard. Perhaps as P&S digital cameras become more compact, the Series 5.5 might return. Bob
