As in using the histogram and other like operations it's fine. However, in reality shooting, people, action and many other disciplines of using the camera in happy snap mode and non-studio use, it's best to turn off all the thing-a-me- jig bits and shoot on auto. Where you'll find the camera is as good as an M, ((OK close.)) ;-) Once you use it enough and become familiar with the feel and function of the camera you'll have a great set of photos to enjoy. If ever there's a situation of KISS, it's using the digital camera until you have a fair amount of experience with it. And quite frankly I find it no different to working with a computer, use it and use it, again and again. Eventually you'll learn what all the bells and whistles are about! Certainly where and when they make sense to use. ted
