The zero setting can be knocked askew but the arm length will stay the same. So, IF the camera was correctly set up in the past, a simple infinity adjustment is usually all that is required. Unfortunately I cannot say with absolute confidence that a new camera will have been set up correctly in the factory. The proof is in the proofs, so a careful film test is in order.
