but for me the shallow depth of field makes it seem almost pasted in.
It's like the noctilux images where the figures seem like cutouts.

I like the image. It's sharp and vivid. But somehow I don't connect
with it and I don't know if it's me or what.

I sure know you have great control of that lens!
