[Leica] in memoriam: Sal DiMarco, Jr.

Folks - 

As a recent subscriber I feel poorer knowing that I won't have the
opportunity to get to know Sal on a corresponence or personal basis.

However, a couple of years ago when I bought my first Leica reflex gear
I remember coming across his name somewhere in a search (probably here!)
and arrogantly e-mailing him with some dumb question or other, to which
he replied immediately, comprehensively and graciously. His answer
solved my dilemma du jour immediately.

Therefore, I submit that, in addition to shooting and posting, we
continue to honor Sal's generous spirit by keeping up the flow of
information which is the result of all the collective years of
first-hand experience represented here in this invaluable forum.
